Cladco Composite Decking Boards - Features & Benefits
What is in Cladco Composite Decking?
Our Signature composite decking boards are composed of 60% FSC® certified recycled wood fibres and 40% recycled plastics, combined with bonding agents and colour tints. This original decking board offers a stylish alternative to timber with reduced maintenance and attractive colour variations.
ProDeck composite boards represent our next-generation decking solution, featuring enhanced durability thanks to a polymer-capped shell. This protective layer shields the composite core from potential damage, extending the lifespan of your decking.
Composite Decking: Simple to Clean and Maintain
Cladco composite decking is resistant to rot, splintering, and warping thanks to the plastic content within the composite mix. Unlike timber decking, neither of our composite boards require sealing, staining, or painting.
Signature composite decking boards should be kept clear of debris and standing water for extended periods to avoid potential damage, while our ProDeck composite boards need less maintenance due to their protective capped surface.
How to Install Composite Decking
Our composite boards can be cut to length using standard woodworking tools. Use stainless steel screws and T-clips to securely fix the decking boards to a suitable joist subframe, ensuring a sturdy structure and straightforward installation.

After installation, the decking undergoes a stabilisation period as the material adjusts to its outdoor environment, typically within six months. The extent of weathering will be influenced by sun exposure and local weather conditions.
