Everything you need to know about Composite and Fibre Cement Wall Cladding

Our Cladding is a Composite or Fibre Cement material that can be used as an exterior covering over your building. Cladding can be used on brick or render using a Joist installation system and can be cut to fit around doors and windows. Trims can be used around the edges of Wall Cladding to complete the exterior design. Wall Cladding is a cost-effective way to improve the look of your building and increase kerb appeal.

What’s in Composite Wall Cladding?

The composite material used in Cladco Composite Cladding is a mix of recycled materials, 60% FSC accredited wood fibres and 40% recycled polyethylene, with tints and bonding agents. This makes Composite Wall Cladding an environmentally-friendly and low-maintenance Cladding material for the exterior of your home.

Installed with a tongue-and-groove style fitting, fixed onto supporting Joists, Composite Wall Cladding is easy to handle and can create a lasting Wall Cladding exterior with the appearance of natural timber. Cladco Composite Wall Cladding Boards are available in eight colours, either in a Woodgrain or Original finish.

What’s in Fibre Cement Wall Cladding?

Cladco Fibre Cement Wall Cladding is an adaptable material made up from cellulose fibres, cement, water, additives and chemicals, which give Fibre Cement Cladding its durable, wood-like aesthetic. Boards have further resilience to wear from the elements and resistance to rot and insects. Manufactured with a paint-and-bake process, colours are retained for a durable finish.

Fibre Cement Boards are easy to install using a feather board technique. Each Board overlaps by 30mm onto the next, giving a 0.65m2 coverage per Board across the exterior of your home. Cladco Fibre Cement Boards come in a range of seven colours, as well as an unpainted option.

Maintaining your Composite Wall Cladding

Cladco Composite Wall Cladding is a low- maintenance alternative to traditional timber boards. Unlike timber boards, Composite Wall Cladding material benefits from being rot, warp and splinter resistant.

What’s more, Composite Wall Cladding does not need to be sealed, stained or painted, and provides years of lasting protection from all types of weather conditions.

Fibre Cement upkeep and maintenance

Due to the chemically-bonded properties of Cladco Fibre Cement Wall Cladding, this type of Cladding requires little maintenance. Once installed, they do not need painting, varnishing or sanding.

To keep the Cladding looking at its best for many years to come, the Boards can be simply washed with a small amount of dish soap and water to remove any visible debris or dirt. Pressure washers should not be used to clean Cladco Fibre Cement Boards.
