Why is PVC Decking more expensive than Composite Decking?

PVC Decking Boards feature a tough ASA shell encasing a PVC core, making PVC Decking highly resistant to scratches, stains, moisture and mould. Composite Decking has resistant properties too, for example against rot, insects and UV rays, these types of Boards are not recommended to use around water features or pools, due to the risk of water absorption, expansion and contraction.
