Millboard® Cladding

About Millboard® Cladding

Millboard® Envello Shadow Line+ cladding is ideal for replicating a classic timber exterior, with its smooth, authentic woodgrain surface. The Envello Board & Batten+ cladding range offers a more architectural look, with distinctive vertical grooves that add depth and texture to exterior walls. Moulded from real oak, Millboard® cladding provides a highly realistic and luxurious woodgrain finish that’s unmatched in appearance, quality and design. Made from a unique resin-mineral composition and reinforced with fibreglass, it offers exceptional strength, durability and long-term performance.

Why Choose Millboard® Cladding?

Millboard® cladding is 100% wood-free, eliminating the need for sealing and removing concerns about moisture damage. Engineered for long-term performance, it resists rot, warping, UV exposure and surface scratches thanks to its solid core and durable outer layer. When installed, Millboard® cladding also offers improved thermal performance compared to traditional timber, helping to enhance building efficiency. Complete your project with Millboard®’s precision-designed trims, an elegant way to achieve a refined, cohesive finish.

How to Install Millboard® Cladding?

The Envello collection by Millboard® is easy to install using fixings hidden behind the tongue-and-groove style finish. Include perforated closures to reduce insect intrusion and improve airflow. A reveal board, available in the same range of colours, can be used around windows and doors to finish off your cladding project. Install using recycled plastic battens for longevity, and install your cladding onto the exterior walls of a building either horizontally or vertically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Envello cladding fade in the sun?

Millboard® Envello cladding is engineered with superior UV resistance, helping to minimise the fading and discolouration often caused by sun exposure.

Does cladding add value to my home?

Installing cladding on your home can add significant value by enhancing kerb appeal and giving older properties a more modern appearance. Cladding also offers practical benefits such as improved protection, insulation, and long-term durability. For a premium finish that combines both style and performance, Millboard® cladding is an excellent choice.

Is every type of cladding fire-rated?

No. Not all types of cladding come with a fire rating. Before choosing your cladding type, discuss the requirements with your building contractor or local authority first. This will help to determine which cladding product is best for your project, such as Millboard Envello cladding (Class D), or Cladco fibre cement cladding (Class B).

Where can I use Envello cladding?

Envello cladding can be used externally on multiple different wall types. Ensure the surface is stable and secure before installing battens. Install onto the exterior of your home, or garden room or office, for an incredible, easy transformation.
