Product Information
Cladco Composite Decking is available in either Hollow or Solid core. Hollow Composite Decking Boards are made with a unique 5-hole honeycomb structure for increased strength and durability. Hollow Decking Boards are available in both Woodgrain and Original Finish. See our Hollow range here.
Both Cladco Composite Hollow and Solid Decking Boards benefit from low-maintenance, low-slip and UV and insect-resistant properties. However, Solid Decking Boards are made of solid material and can be used for high footfall areas and offer better sound absorption qualities than Hollow Decking Boards, which have a 5-hole honeycomb interior. Find out more about the differences here.
Cladco Composite Decking is made with a combination of materials, including wood, making it a natural product that will exhibit colour variations. As a result, the colour will differ between batches, even when ordered at the same time. You may also notice slight colour differences within a single batch. Orders purchased at different times will display noticeable shade differences.
Products purchased together but then split into two separate projects will stabilise at different rates. For example, if an area is installed and extended sometime later, variations may occur within the Boards, even if they come from the same batch. If Composite Boards are used across multiple projects, the stabilisation process will vary for each set, leading to differences in appearance over time.
Cladco Composite Decking is designed and manufactured to mimic the natural grain and colour variations found in real timber decking. To ensure a balanced and visually pleasing result, we recommend laying out all the Boards before installation to evenly distribute the natural variations across your Decking area.
Yes, Cladco Fibre Cement Wall Cladding Boards can be cut. When cutting, fine dust is released into the atmosphere - the mineral itself is harmless, however dangerous if inhaled and will constitute a health hazard. A Level P3 Respiratory Protective Mask should be worn when cutting the Boards. The Boards must be cut outside and it is recommended to use a wet saw to reduce dust particles. Further information and other applicable legislative requirements can be found by visiting the Health and Safety Executive’s website.
Flashings and Trims are used to seal the edges and corners of a building, ensuring no water can penetrate the Cladding and potentially cause issues between the walls of the home and the Boards.
Cladco Flashings and Trims include:
Starter Strip – This is installed at the base of your project, the galvanized steel Starter Strip is attached to the base Batten. The Wall Cladding Boards are then slotted into place, creating a support for the next Wall Cladding Board.
Corner Trim – These can add the finishing touches to your Cladding Project, designed to complete the look.
Skirting Trim – These are used, similar to Corner Trims, to complete your Composite Cladding project. Skirting Trims can create beautiful borders around windows and doors.
Cladco Premium Nordeck Decking Boards, are made from man-made materials, the absence of natural wood, within the Boards, means they should not absorb moisture, which could make the Boards slippery. Cladco Premium Nordeck Decking Boards have a textured woodgrain surface, the rough feel and gritted surface provides the Boards with low-slip properties.
Find out more about Cladco Premium Nordeck Decking with our sample packs here.
Cladco Premium Nordeck Decking Boards have a low absorption rate of water, thanks to the PVC interior and exterior ASA Resin. The low-absorption rate and the man-made interior properties of Nordeck Decking means the Boards should not expand or contract. Find out more about Cladco Premium Nordeck Decking with our Sample Packs here.
Cladco Composite Decking Boards have UV-resistant properties, however, Composite Boards contain natural wood elements, which means they will fade from weathering over time. This process is most noticeable within the first six months after installation. Like any Composite product, our Decking Boards undergo a stabilisation process where they fade slightly to reach their final colour.
Samples can be ordered for all products, please see our website here.
Cladco Composite Decking has a 15-year warranty subject to installation. Cladco Nordeck Decking has a 20-year warranty and Aluminium Decking has a 20-year warranty subject to terms and conditions. Find out more about our warranties by visiting our terms and conditions.
Composite Decking requires time to acclimatise to outdoor environments. During the stabilisation period of around six months, sections of your Decking that are not exposed to weathering, such as areas under furniture, will not weather at the same rate as the rest of your Decking. If you expose these areas to the natural elements, they will gradually even out in colour as the previous Boards have.
Cladco Composite decking boards are available in two lengths, 4m and 2.4m Fencing boards are available in 3.6m lengths and Cladco Wall Cladding is available in 3.6m lengths. We are unable to cut any products to size for customers.
Cladco Composite Cladding is an excellent choice for exterior domestic projects. Please be aware that it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the product complies with relevant building standards and regulations. We cannot assume any liability should the products fail to meet specific building, fire, structural, or other legal requirements applicable to your intended use or installation.
Our Composite Boards are designed to replicate the natural appearance of timber while eliminating the need for regular maintenance. The pigments used in the manufacturing process may react differently with the timber content in each Board, resulting in variations in shade. This is also the case with our Decking Trims, as they are made with the same composition.
1m is 3.28 feet. A 4m Decking board is 13.12feet and the 2.4m Decking board is 7.87feet

A balustrade system is made using vertical posts which are installed between Handrail Balustrade sections. Balustrades are often supplied with a handrail section at the top for a comfortable design when using the balustrade for support. Handrails are often a section of material that can be used for support or guides, along corridors or upstairs, designed as a curved section that can comfortably be gripped by a hand. Cladco balustrade system incorporates an easy-to-hold handrail across the top of the balustrade system matched to the same powder-coated material.
Cladco Aluminium Balustrade is stronger than timber or composite options available on the market, as it is not subjected to rot, warping or splinters. Toughened Glass and Aluminium balustrade are made with equal strengths however require ongoing care and maintenance. Unlike glass materials, aluminium is easy to cut to size, any competent DIYer should be able to fix and install the balustrade with relative ease. - unlike timber where the colours can vary and fade over time, aluminium colours stay uninformed and will not fade over time. - unlike glass, which will show smudges finger marks and dirt easily, Aluminium Balustrades do not require regular cleaning.
