About our composite wall cladding starter strip
Before using Cladco Signature composite cladding boards, you will need to make sure your project is level and that is where this wall cladding starter strip comes in use, ensuring boards are installed neatly onto a building’s exterior.
Designed using tough precision-made galvanised steel, each cladding starter strip has increased corrosion and wear resistance from the elements, to last over time.

Height: 50mm
Depth: 10mm
Weight: 1.32kg approx.
To begin the installation, fix the wall cladding starter strip to the bottom of each composite batten on your exterior wall, then slot the first cladding board into place.
Ensure there is a minimum 15mm gap between the ground and the starter strip to prevent the boards from touching the floor. The starter strip must also be completely level before installing any cladding boards.
