The stainless steel clips and screws offer strength and corrosion resistance within the decking system and fit within the grooves of the boards to create a hidden fixing.
Not only do the clips connect the decking boards, but also provide a hidden join without the use of larger T-clips. Leaving a 3mm expansion gap, your Signature composite boards will be fastened securely and seamlessly.
We recommend connecting seven clips for every 2.4m of board, and 11 clips per 4m of board.
Supplied in a pack of 100, we advise using a PH2 drill bit to secure the stainless steel screws.

When your goods are delivered these are sometimes delivered on a pallet with the necessary
associated packaging to ensure they arrive with you in the best possible condition. We view the pallet and
packaging as necessary for the protection of the goods and therefore will be a part of what is delivered to you.
It is your responsibility to dispose of these items in a responsible manner when appropriate.
The clips fit into grooves of Signature composite boards, holding them tightly in place while creating a hidden join.
Why are the decking clips made from steel?
The high-quality steel offers increased wear and corrosion resistance for long-lasting durability.
How do these differ from traditional T-clips?
Unlike larger T-clips, these stainless steel clips offer a more discreet join between decking boards, maintaining a cleaner, more professional finish with a reduced 3mm expansion gap.
Why is it important to double joist and use two clips at adjoining boards?
When our Signature composite decking boards expand and contract, they must be securely fastened to minimise movement. A single joist may not provide sufficient surface area for the ends of two boards to be properly anchored. Using double joists at adjoining points ensures each board end is attached to a joist, increasing the stability of your project. Adjoining boards should never share the same clip, and should be secured using two clips per board end.
This method will improve the structural integrity of your decking; especially in high-stress areas like the ends, where foot traffic, weathering and material contraction or expansion increase the strain on your decking.
Adhering to these guidelines will help ensure proper installation and longevity of your Composite Decking. Failure to follow these guidelines will invalidate the product warranty.
