When your goods are delivered these are sometimes delivered on a pallet with the necessary
associated packaging to ensure they arrive with you in the best possible condition. We view the pallet and
packaging as necessary for the protection of the goods and therefore will be a part of what is delivered to you.
It is your responsibility to dispose of these items in a responsible manner when appropriate.
The Cladco Stainless Steel Clips fit into grooves of Composite Decking Boards, holding them tightly in place while creating a hidden join. This eliminates the need for a visible T-Clip fastening system.
Why are the Decking Clips made from steel?
The high-quality steel offers increased wear and corrosion resistance for long-lasting durability.
Why is it important to double Joist and use two Clips at adjoining Boards?
When our Composite Decking Boards expand and contract, they must be securely fastened to minimise movement. A single Joist may not provide sufficient surface area for the ends of two Boards to be properly anchored. Using double Joists at adjoining points ensures each Board end is attached to a joist, increasing the stability of your project. Adjoining Boards should never share the same Clip, and should be secured using two clips per Board end.
This method will improve the structural integrity of your Decking; especially in high-stress areas like the ends, where foot traffic, weathering and material contraction or expansion increase the strain on your Decking.
Adhering to these guidelines will help ensure proper installation and longevity of your Composite Decking. Failure to follow these guidelines will invalidate the product’s warranty.
