Why use a top rail with your Signature composite fencing panels?
When it comes to creating a seamless finish on your composite fencing project, these fencing rails allow you to add a neat edge to the top or bottom of your Signature composite fencing panels. These fencing rails sit along the top or bottom of each panel, concealing visible tongue-and-groove joins while offering additional protection against impact or weathering.
These durable rails easily clip onto the top or base of the fencing panel and can be secured further using Cladco high strength adhesive sealant. When installed at the bottom of the panel, the rail may require replacement over time due to exposure and the risk of rust accumulation.
Colour matching guidance
To help you achieve the most seamless finish possible, fencing rails are available in colours that closely match our Signature composite fencing panels:
Charcoal panel – Black PVC rail
Light grey / Stone grey panel – Merlin grey PVC rail
Olive green panel – Olive green PVC rail
Teak panel – Vandyke brown PVC rail
Galvanised option – No direct match, but available as an alternative finish
Please note: While designed for compatibility, colours may vary slightly due to differences in steel material and finish.
We recommend using tin snips for cutting these fencing rails to your desired size. The serrated blades offer clean, accurate cuts through steel. Use fencing rails in conjunction with top or bottom panel installations for maximum impact resistance and aesthetic effect.
