Our range of composite cladding can be installed either horizontally or vertically to instantly transform the exterior walls of any domestic or commercial building, thanks to its easy-to-install and lightweight properties.
Our Signature composite boards are manufactured from an environmentally-friendly material comprising of 60% recycled hardwood fibres and 40% recycled plastics. Boards are 3.6m in length and available in both original and woodgrain finishes for increased versatility. Each finish comes in eight colours, with no need to sand, varnish or paint. Colours include Charcoal, Teak, Light Grey, Ivory, Olive Green, Coffee, Redwood and Stone Grey.
Our ProClad composite cladding provides an authentic woodgrain effect cladding solution, and offer increased resistance to weather conditions, scratching, staining and fading due to UV exposure. The boards are made up of a composite core with a capped polymer protective shell to maximise longevity and durability while reducing the need for maintenance. The surface recreates the look and feel of natural timber, and like our Signature composite cladding, doesn’t need to be prepped or painted after purchase.
As well as composite cladding, Cladco offers composite slatted wall cladding. These panels have the capped composite shell and are designed to replicate the look of individual timber slats. Available in a range of six natural colours, they create a sophisticated modern finish with ease.

Product Quality
The benefits of choosing our composite cladding options include a low-maintenance exterior solution that is resistant to rot, splintering and warping. Made from 60% recycled hardwood fibres and 40% recycled plastic, our signature composite wall cladding is both sustainable and stylish. With lower overall maintenance costs compared to natural timber, our composite boards do not require staining, painting or treatment to maintain their appearance. ProClad cladding boards are highly durable, offering increased resistance to scratching, staining and fading caused by UV exposure.
Product Range
Signature composite boards are 3.6m in length. Like our Signature decking and fencing, they are available in a choice of eight contemporary colours and two finishes. Both signature and ProClad cladding boards are easily installed using a tongue-and-groove system and can be assembled vertically or horizontally. ProClad offers superior protection from weather conditions and fading due to its polymer-capped shell, making it a durable and low-maintenance solution for transforming exterior spaces.
What's the difference between composite cladding and wood cladding?
Cladco composite cladding boards are a durable alternative to wood cladding. Their environmentally friendly wood/plastic composition makes for a material that is rot and warp resistant, low-maintenance and long-lasting in comparison to natural wood.
Is composite cladding cheaper than wood cladding?
Composite cladding can be more expensive than wood cladding initially, due to the higher cost of the materials and manufacturing process. This however works out as less expensive in the long run as composite is stronger, longer-lasting and has lower maintenance needs than wood or timber.
How long does composite cladding last?
Depending on where you live and where your composite boards have been installed can affect how long the cladding will last. The wood/plastic composition of the material used to manufacture the boards is a more durable alternative to timber and will last longer in areas that are not exposed to harsh weather conditions.
Is composite cladding waterproof?
Our composite cladding has a low water absorption rate when compared with real wood cladding. The 40% plastic elements within the composite boards are mixed with hardwood fibres during the extrusion process to minimise water absorption into the cladding boards.
Does composite cladding have any disadvantages?
One of the disadvantages of composite wall cladding is that it can be expensive to install, especially hiring a professional to complete the process. Having said this, in the long run, the benefits of using composite far outweigh this due to its minimal maintenance and long-lasting properties.
How do you attach composite cladding?
Our composite cladding can be installed both horizontally and vertically onto a simple substructure made up of battens. The boards fit together using a tongue and groove technique. A selection of trims can be used for a seamless finish around edges and corners. Take a look at our installation guides for more information.
Does composite cladding need a membrane under it?
Composite cladding boards are naturally very resistant to water exposure/weather damage and so there is a relatively low chance of water penetrating through the cladding and damaging the wall behind. If however, you live in an environment where there is high wind and rainfall, a good quality membrane installed beneath your boards will help to protect your home.
Why do Cladco composite cladding boards look different in certain weather conditions?
Cladco composite cladding boards may appear different in wet and dry weather. Changes in moisture levels can make colour differences in the boards more noticeable.
