Composite Decking

Cladco offer two composite decking options. Our Woodgrain Effect Reversible Composite Decking Boards create a high quality, durable garden decking and a strong alternative to traditional timber. Our premium ProDeck Composite Decking Boards feature a protective outer shell engineered to increase resistance to stains, fading and moisture.

The high-strength material used to manufacture all of our composite boards is a wood-plastic mix, comprising of 60% recycled hardwood fibres and 40% recycled plastics. This makes our decking boards rot, warp and splinter resistant, whilst being environmentally-friendly and long-lasting.

The additional 'capped composite' shell of our premium ProDeck Decking Boards provides greater protection against impact, UV discolouration, moisture and standing water.

Cladco Woodgrain Effect Reversible Composite Decking Boards are favoured for being easy-to-install with low-maintenance properties. They're available in a range of eight attractive colours and can be installed as either the woodgrain or grooved finish. The grooved finish provides low-slip benefits for a safer walking surface.

Our ProDeck Composite Decking Boards are available in six multi-tonal colours and also feature a woodgrain or grooved side.

Is composite decking maintenance-free?

While composite decking requires significantly less upkeep than traditional timber decking, it is not entirely maintenance-free. Cleaning is necessary to remove debris and prevent potential staining. Our ProDeck Decking Boards are virtually maintenance free due to their protective polymer shell.

What's the difference between timber decking and composite decking?

The material composition of composite decking boards make them longer-lasting, lower-maintenance and lower-slip compared to traditional timber decking. Check out our Composite vs Wood Decking blog post for more info.

Is composite decking cheaper than timber decking?

Board for board, composite decking is more expensive than timber decking. This is because of the vast array of benefits that composite decking has over timber decking. However, in the long run, composite decking works out to be cheaper than timber, as it does not require regular sanding, painting, varnishing or replacing.

Why do Cladco Composite Decking Boards look different in certain weather conditions?

Sample box delivered in three days. It contained actual cuts and the range of colours available plus a brochure full of information. Having these samples helped in deciding which type and colour I needed. Decided on my needs, told my carpenter who measured up, ordered and did the job. Excellent product that was fitted well.
