At Cladco, we offer two composite decking options. Our Signature composite decking boards create high-quality, garden decking areas, and are a strong alternative to traditional timber boards. Our premium ProDeck composite decking boards feature a protective outer shell engineered to increase resistance to stains, fading and moisture.
The high-strength material used to manufacture all of our composite boards is a wood-plastic mix, comprising 60% recycled hardwood fibres and 40% recycled plastics. This composition makes our composite decking boards resistant to rot, warping and splintering, while also being environmentally friendly and long lasting.
Our premium ProDeck boards feature an additional capped composite shell, providing enhanced protection against impact, UV discolouration, moisture and standing water — making them ideal for more demanding outdoor environments.
Signature boards are a popular choice due to their ease of installation and low-maintenance properties. They are available in eight attractive colours and can be installed with either a woodgrain-effect surface or a grooved finish, which offers low-slip benefits for improved safety underfoot.
ProDeck composite boards are available in six multi-tonal colours and also feature a reversible design with both woodgrain and grooved surfaces, offering flexibility in both style and application.

Product Quality
Cladco Signature composite decking boards are manufactured from 60% FSC® certified* recycled hardwood fibres and 40% high-grade recycled plastic, making them an environmentally friendly choice. Our ProDeck boards offer enhanced durability, along with stain and UV fade resistance, thanks to the addition of a capped polymer layer. Both board types require no sanding, varnishing or painting, providing a hard-wearing, long-lasting decking solution for years to come.
*If you require FSC® certified products, please request these when placing your order.
Product Range
Available in a range of lengths, our composite decking boards can be cut to size using standard woodworking tools to suit your specific project. For domestic applications, we recommend hollow boards, while solid boards are best suited for areas with higher footfall or heavier loads. With a wide range of colours to choose from, our composite decking boards can be seamlessly colour-matched to trims or fascia boards. Or you could try something more daring and choose contrasting fascia boards to create a bold picture frame aesthetic. Coordinating your outdoor space has never been so easy, with complimenting composite cladding or composite fencing ranges.
Is composite decking worth the money?
Yes — your investment can save both time and money in the long run. Signature composite boards are long-lasting and come with a 15-year warranty. Our ProDeck boards are supplied with a 20-year warranty, offering added peace of mind and performance.
Which composite decking board is cheapest?
Our 2.4m Signature composite decking boards are the most affordable in our composite decking range, starting from £13.90 per board. Our blog post on UK composite decking prices can help to provide more information.
Which composite decking board is best?
Signature boards are our most affordable composite decking option and provide strength and beauty to any outdoor area. The solid version of this board can be better for high-traffic areas due to its strength and sound absorption, designed for commercial use or subjected to heavier, larger loads. 'Best' is subjective and depends on your requirements but our article discussing < href="https://www.cladcodecking.co.uk/blog/post/best-composite-decking-brand-comparison">composite decking brand comparisons could help to explain 'which composite decking is best'.
Is composite decking maintenance-free?
While composite decking requires significantly less upkeep than traditional timber decking, it is not entirely maintenance-free. Cleaning is necessary to remove debris and prevent potential staining. If your decking is situated beneath overhanging trees, keep an eye out for leaves, petals, and sap that need to be cleared promptly to avoid marking the surface. Our ProDeck boards are virtually maintenance free due to their protective polymer shell.
Is composite decking better than Trex?
Our composite decking range is available as both solid and hollow structure boards, which, when compared to Trex’s 'Enhance' range, are stronger, more durable and lightweight. Our sample packs are free in comparison to Trex. See our Trex vs Cladco composite decking post to help further with this.
What's the difference between timber decking and composite decking?
The material composition of composite decking boards make them longer-lasting, lower-maintenance and lower-slip compared to traditional timber decking. Our composite vs wood decking blog post for more info.
Is composite decking cheaper than timber decking?
Board for board, composite decking is more expensive than timber decking. This is because of the vast array of benefits that composite decking has over timber decking. However, in the long run, composite decking works out to be cheaper than timber, as it does not require regular sanding, painting, varnishing or replacing.
Why do Cladco composite boards look different in certain weather conditions?
Our composite boards may appear different in wet and dry weather. Changes in moisture levels can make colour differences in the boards more noticeable.
